If you want to move, click the arrows or a Picker goniostat in upper-left side of this view.

Instrument Bay 3 has two Picker goniostats, each controlled by locally designed and constructed IBM PC interfaces. Plumbing modules for the two instruments are visible on the left side of the back wall of the room. The module mounted on the back wall to the far right side of the photograph is the gaseous nitrogen control panel for the low temperature systems. All data collected in the IUMSC is collected at ca. 100K whenever possible (exceptions include those crystals that undergo phase transitions).

Each instrument bay also has ample storage cabinets, visible to the left in the picture. Each bay also has a workbench and exhaust hood.
