The Rotate3D applet shows the morphology of a sugar crystal that was examined optically on a goniostat to determine the indices of the faces. Each of the distances was then adjusted so that the image looked like the crystal. While rotating the image, strike the "w" key to change the image from a solid figure to a wireframe model and back.
