| Single Crystal Charges |
- Single crystal analysis; base price for
air-stable compounds of up to 100 non-hydrogen atoms. Includes
cell parameters, complete analysis and refinement of low-temperature
data set (room temperature at no extra cost). Charge assessed
only for completed structures, but see notes below.
|
$300.00
|
- Surcharge for non-hydrogen atoms in
excess of 100 in asymmetric unit
|
$1.00/atom
|
- Special handling charge for samples that
are air/moisture sensitive or that require other specialized handling
techniques (glove bag, low temperature transfer, solvent loop
mounting).
|
$25.00
|
- Determination of cell parameters.
Charge assessed when only cell parameter data is required. If
starting material is identified or previously determined structures
are found, the minimum charge assessed is the cell parameter
charge. User is responsible for alerting staff of possible
cell parameters to look for. Otherwise, full charge can apply.
|
$35
|
- Additional crystallographic data.
This charge is assessed for data collection at a second temperature,
or for a resubmitted crystal where better quality data is
desired. Additional large structure surcharge and special
handling charges still apply.
|
$100.00
|
Powder Diffraction Charges |
- Basic powder diffraction analysis
requiring less than eight hours of instrument time, no special
handling, room temperature data.
|
$35.00
|
- Surcharge for each additional hour beyond
eight hours on a single sample.
|
$5.00 |
- Special handling charge. Same
criteria as for single crystal studies or for low temperature studies.
|
