- Time-resolved diffraction methods for solid state reactions.

- Principal coordinator of the SCrAPS program (Synchrotron Crystallography at the Advanced Photon Source), a collaboration between researchers and service crystallographers at academic institutions to measure micro-crystals with synchrotron radiation
